The results are as follows. (1) The supply of tennis rackets was significantly higher at junior and senior high schools in Shizuoka Prefecture than those in other prefectures. Significantly more tennis classes required their participants to put the tennis courts back to good condition after class in Shizuoka Prefecture as compared with other prefectures. (2) As for tennis class at junior and senior high schools, respondents expressed their views as to instructors' coaching level, the practice of looking after the courts after class, the limited availability of rackets, and the importance of coaches. (3) Favorable was respondents' over-all evaluation of tennis class at college.
