As part of the project, we are now holding an art show using as a motif rabbit rice cake sweets, one of the three traditional confectioneries in Shizuoka-city.The show presents the art works featuring a fairy tale of rabbits giving rabbit rice cake sweets as a gift to Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, who lived in Sunpu Castle, Shizuoka-city, in the early 1600 s. The art works are comprised of three folding screens, a bead castle, and two shaped articles based on the fairy tale.
